In the general complex of technological operations crop and landing posess a defining role. The simplification of the subsequent operations, productivity and certainly quality of an end-product depends on quality of seeding shoots. As of today in the market of agricultural machinery a plenty of new sowing units which have varied design features is let out. In given article the most applied designs ploughshare mechanisms, namely one-disk, two-disk, chiseled and anchored are analysed. Plus and minuses of each of them by the basic criteria, such as sowing to a box and stacking of seeds, заделка seeds, deduction of the set depth, pressure ploughshares on ground, protection against stones, speed of movement, maintenance service are revealed.
