The shifting mechanism comprises a gearbox, a shifting shaft, a shifting arm and a shifting clutch, wherein the shifting shaft is arranged on the gearbox; the first end of the shifting shaft is connected with the upper end of the shifting arm; the lower end of the shifting arm is matched with the shifting clutch; a shifting block is arranged at the second end of the shifting shaft; a fixing block is arranged on the gearbox below the shifting block; the fixing block is connected with one end, which is far away from the shifting shaft, of the fixing block through a tension spring; one end, which is far away from the shifting shaft, of the shifting block is connected with a shifting cable; the acting force of the shifting cable on the shifting block is upward force. The shifting mechanism is simple in structure, is accordant with the normal operating habit of an operator, and is very convenient to operate; shifting of the mini-tiller can be realized; the cable is arranged on a handrail frame through a shifting handle.
