REVITALISASI KAWASAN CAGAR BUDAYA DENGAN PENDEKATAN PARIWISATA BERKELANJUTAN, STUDI KASUS: BENTENG TINDOI, KAB. WAKATOBI

Benteng Tindoi terus terancam keberadaannya karna tidak didukung kesadaran masyarakat untuk melestarikan keunikan situs cagar budaya ini. Benteng Tindoi seharusnya menjadi aset berharga bagi pemerintah jika dikelola secara serius. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merevitalisasi situs cagar budaya dengan memberikan vitalitas baru melalui pendekatan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Penelitian menggunakan kombinasi strategi interpretative historical , untuk mengetahui bentuk asli benteng melalui observasi dan wawancara mandalam. Kemudian strategi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk memahami potensi wisata dan karakter sosial budaya masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rumusan kriteria dan konsep revitalisasi mencakup pemugaran fisik benteng, penataan pariwisata berbasis pelestarian lingkungan, penataan pusat ekonomi kreatif, penataan area aktivitas sosial-budaya yang menunjang kegiatan atraksi kearifan lokal. ========================================================= Fort - Tindoi existence continues to be threatened because it is not supported by public awareness to preserve the uniqueness of this cultural heritage site. Fort Tindoi should be a valuable asset for the government if it is managed seriously. The purpose of this research is to revitalize cultural heritage sites by providing new vitality through a sustainable tourism approach. This research uses a combination of historical interpretative strategies, to determine the original form of the fort through observation and interviews. Then a qualitative strategy with a descriptive approach to understanding tourism potential and the socio-cultural character of the community. The results of this research are the formulation of the criteria and concept of revitalization including the physical restoration of the fort, the arrangement of tourism based on environmental preservation, the arrangement of the creative economy center, the arrangement of the area of socio-cultural activities that support the activities of local wisdom attractions.
