Linfoma cutáneo de células T paniculítico Subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma

2011
Summary Panniculitic T cell lymphoma is a rare type of cutaneous lymphoma, which infiltration is located primarily into the subcutaneous tissue and represents less than 1% of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The new classification of the WHO-EORTC separates by one side a panniculitic α/β indolent lymphoma and on the other side a panniculitic γ/δ lymphoma which is more aggressive. The clinical presentation usually consists of panniculitic nodules, frequently in the legs, but can compromise other locations. Immunohistochemistry and genetics are important to identify these two types of panniculitic lymphomas. The α/β type represents 75% of cases and presents a 5-year survival of 80% while the γ/δ type has a 5-year survival of 10%.
