The invention provides a method for treating organic garbage by earthworms cultivated by a geothermal method. The method consists of a truss type crane, a double-layer water accumulation temperature control type fermentation pool, a special earthworm cultivation tank, a geothermal cultivation room, an illuminating system, a ventilating system and a monitoring system. The method has five processes of garbage classification, garbage fermentation, earthworm digestion, separation and recovery of earthworm feces and earthworms, and realizes the purposes of harmless treatment and recycling of the organic garbage.
