Method, system and device for online video on demand on display screen

The invention relates to a system and a method for realizing online video on demand, and relates to embedded equipment, display equipment and a controller. The method comprises the following steps that: a client is installed on each of the embedded equipment and the display equipment; the embedded equipment is connected with a network, and acquires data from the network, wherein the data comprises pictures, texts, structures and/or videos; when connected with the display equipment, the embedded equipment detects the connection, transmits video and audio signals to the display equipment, and displays the video and audio signals to a user through a display screen of the display equipment; and the controller controls the display equipment to execute operation related to video selection on the basis of contents displayed on the display screen of the display equipment, the display equipment transmits a corresponding control signal back to the embedded equipment, and the embedded equipment transmits the control signal to the client installed on the embedded equipment for a corresponding response. The online video on demand on a television screen, a mobile phone screen and the like can be realized in a mode which facilitates the operation of the user.
