Cathodoluminescence from crystalline phases in a ZrO2-SiO2-CeO2 ceramic

The chemical composition of crystalline phases in a ZrO2-SiO2-CeO2 ceramic was determined by electron probe x-ray microanalysis, and the luminescent properties of these phases were studied. The valence state of Ce in these phases was determined from cathodoluminescence data.
