The Geostatistical Software Tool Program: Overview and some Highlighted Features.

2008
The Geostatistical Software Tool is the leading block modeling software in Russia. It's in use since 1990 and is installed in dozens of geological, mining, scientific, educational organizations. Main applications are: block modeling in ore estimation, expert analysis of the mining projects, studying the applied geostatistics. The goal is to have software with minimum automatisation, but with a lot of transparent Ai, providing total manual control on everything, but one‐click visual control, with the graphics interface, based on GIS technologies instead of usual CAD‐like interface. When for educational or for expert problems, the software is used as stand‐alone, and for the practical modeling the main usage is as a replacement of the geostatistical modules in various full circle mining software. The Geostatistical Software Tool offers several unique mechanisms; the most interesting of there are the concept of secondary weighting functions and the concept of hierarchical block conditions.
