A glance to uncertainty from an epistemological point of view

A PSA is a methodological frame in which different types of knowledge are melted with their relevant uncertainties. In PSA literature, various uncertainty taxonomies have been proposed. This paper proposes an epistemological ground as the most suitable base for discussion on such questions. Starting from an evolutionary analysis of life of theories, the conclusion is drawn of adopting a knowledge engineering approach to reconduct uncertainties to their knowledge counterparts.
