Chairman Rockefeller called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. Officers and Council members present were: Chairman Edwin S. Rockefeller, ViceChairman Ira M. Millstein, Section Delegate Allen C. Holmes, Budget Officer Gordon F. Hampton, Secretary John H. Morrison, Last Retiring Chairman C. Brien Dillon, Harvey M. Applebaum, H. Francis DeLone, William J. Lowry, Lee N. Abrams, Taylor R. Briggs, Earl E. Pollock, Harry Kemker, William T. Lifland, Richard J. MacLaury, Maxwell M. Blecher and Richard W. Pogue. Also present were Staff Liaison Shelley Walker, Law Student Division Liaison W. Dale Collins and, at the invitation of the Section Chairman, the following committee chairpersons: James H. Wallace, Jr., David L. Foster, Irving Scher, John F. Graybeal, James P. Melican, Eleanor Fox, Mark Crane, Richard A. Whiting, James T. Halversorr, Howard Adler and Steven Keane. Council members Thomas E. Kauper and John H. Shenefield were not present.
