Copa do Mundo de Futebol 2014 no Brasil: um estudo comparativo entre as coberturas dos jornais Folha de São Paulo/Brasil e El País/Espanha

The aim of this study was to compare the coverages of Folha de Sao Paulo with El Pais newspapers in relation to the aspects related to organization and functioning of the sportive mega event. The units of meanings defined 2 categories. The newspaper’s speech modified in face of the events during the event. First, it portrayed dissatisfaction with the event organization and subsequently predominated the news about the Brazilian capacity in executing a sportive mega event.
