According totheLippmann-Young equation, thegoalof this study focuses onreducing thedriving voltage ofthe flexible electrowetting display by implementing high contact angle andhighcapacitance. Byinserting SiNXfilm androughsurface, thelowersaturation voltage for electrowetting display canbeachieved onPETsubstrate. In thisstudy, theelectrowetting characteristics withrough surface byusing photolithography process asinterlayer performs better swingbehavior ofcontact angle-voltage swing onflexible substrate application.
