Beaverite from Cumbria and Yorkshire

2006
SUMMARY The rare lead copper iron sulphate mineral beaverite is reported from the oxidized zones of low temperature lead and copper bearing veins near Malham, North Yorkshire and in Borrowdale, Cumbria. It occurs as a component of supergene mineral assemblages that are typical of oxidation in near neutral conditions.
