Tomographic images used in dentistry may include the head and neck and oral and maxillofacial radiologists should recognize the changes and anatomical variations involving evaluate area. The styloid process of the temporal bone is a bony projection that can be observed in conventional and tomographic images used by dentists. In some situations the association of ossification of ligaments mandibular style and stylehyoid with Eagle’s syndrome is made when signs and symptoms cervical and pharyngeal are reported by the patient. We report a case where this association can be made. The images obtained by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) showed bilateral ossification styloid process, especially on the right side. The diagnosis was established based on clinical and radiographic findings.
