Antioxidant status and nitrogen oxide production in cows in health and obstetric/gynecologic disease

The rate of free-radical lipid oxidation processes, state of the enzymatic component of the antioxidant system, and nitrogen oxide production during late pregnancy and in obstetric/gynecologic disease in cows are studied. It is established that the antioxidant system and nitrogen oxide are components of a multilevel system regulating the activity of the reproductive function of mammals.
