Chemodenervation of Trigeminal Nerve

Percutaneous surgical management including chemodenervation of Trigeminal nerve can be offered to selective patients who have failed medical management. Various agents can be used for this purpose, including alcohol and glycerol. Presented are the indications, procedure techniques, advantages, disadvantages of the procedure when compared to different treatment modalities in the management of trigeminal neuralgia.
