Engaging the public with digital primary sources

This essay focuses on a collaborative database project, involving five universities and historical societies in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, and how the authors incorporated pedagogical elements into the design of the database, and encouraged KÐ12 teachers and college students to use it.
