For this reason, Korea’s small logistics businesses represent about 80 percent of the average income of Korean city workers. The Korean Insurance Business Act was revised as of December 8, 2020. Article 35 of the Korea Cargo Transport Business Act stipulate that freight cars with a maximum load of more than 5 tons or a total weight of 10 tons are required to be insured. It imposes a fine of up to 5 million won on unaccompanied drivers.
