A loading synchronizer for large displacement low reversed cyclic loading testing of an ancient timber frame is composed of two sets of plane swing columns fixed on a double-knife edge bearer, an ear plate, a dynamometrical bar, loading winches and one ancient timber frame. The dynamometrical bar is connected between the plane swing columns and the ancient timber frame. The distance between two knife edges of the double-knife edge bearer and the height of the ear plate on the plane swing columns are adjusted. During the large displacement low reversed cyclic loading testing of the ancient timber frame, the loading winch at one end of the ancient timber frame is loaded, the loading winch at the other end of the ancient timber frame is loosed, and movement of the ancient timber frame model and movement of the plane swing columns are synchronized. The dynamometrical bar is maintained horizontal. Displacement of the loading device and displacement exerted on the ancient timber frame model are synchronized. The structure is simple, the synchronism is good, the manufacturing and the installation are convenient, and the cost is low. The loading synchronizer is suitable for large displacement low reversed cyclic loading testing of the ancient timber frame model and is particularly suitable for large displacement low reversed cyclic loading testing of a full-size ancient timber frame.
