Effect of early enteral immunonutrition to postoperative rehabilitation in gastric cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy

2012
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of early enteral immunonutrition to postoperative rehabilitation in gastric cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods 60 cases of advanced gastric cancer were chose,mFOLFOX-6 method was used 2 cycles preoperative chemotherapy, the patients in the control group(30 cases) received basic treatment,Patients in the treatment group(30 cases) were received enteral immunonutrition from operative day to six days of postoperative. The rehabilitation condition was abserved between the two groups. Results The difference of CRP 2,4,6 day of postoperative of treatment group[(103.30±45.14),(49.81±20.45),(25.30±11.48) mg/L] was statistically significant with that of the control group [(136.58±48.16),(84.80±40.11),(52.45±24.85) mg/L](all P 0.01).The difference of the exact time of the first flatus between treatment group [(3.9±0.92) d] and control group [(5.0±1.11) d] was statistically significant(all P 0.01).The difference of SIRS 4,6 day of postoperative between two groups was statistically significant(P 0.05);Conclusion Early enteral immunonutrition can degrade Inflammatory reaction and encourage restoring of intestinal movement and rehabilitation of gastric cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
