Stool virus recovery in subclinical poliomyelitis during incubation, febrile, and convalescent periods.

Aided by grants from the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, Inc. and its Cook County Chapter. has been isolated from the stools of subclinical cases for periods up to 19 days before onset of the disease8'9 and one to two months after an attack10 and from a healthy individual exposed to a clinical case one and two months before stools were collected.11
