Faith in resolving Sierra Leone's bloody conflict

Abstract This paper gives an account of the war in Sierra Leone that took place between 1991 and 2002. It discusses attempts at conflict resolution, reconciliation and peace building, with an emphasis on the role of faith communities and the Inter-Religious Council of Sierra Leone.
