ГЕОХИМИЯ ЦИРКОНА ИЗ МАГМАТИЧЕСКИХ И МЕТАМОРФИЧЕСКИХ ПОРОД УРАЛА

2012
The geochemical features of zircon and its specificity in different by the composition and origin igneous and metamorphic rocks of the Urals are considered. All rocks studied are characterized by the presence of several polygenic and polychronous groups of zircon. Zircon is more stable then other rock-forming and accessory minerals, and therefore preserves the memory of past events. As a result large variations in the trace element composition of different genetic populations are appeared in zircon. For the light REE, U and Th these variations may reach several orders of magnitude. Detailed studies allow us using of zircon age and geochemistry to determine its genetic affiliation and thus get more information about the nature of involving rocks. In particular, the post-magmatic stage of the rock formation is characterized by zircon, which has the highest concentrations of LREE and devoid of positive Ce anomalies. The studied igneous rocks contain the zircon, which has geochemical features that are characteristic for minerals from continental environments.
