Hugo Munsterberg's Pioneer Studies of Managerial Decisions-Making.

Seventy-two years ago, at the request of a large steamship company, Hugo Munsterberg of Harvard University initiated a series of psychological studies on the decisions of ship officers. The result was an experimental investigation into the psychology of decision by Munsterberg and J. W. Bridges which is discussed in this paper.
