Experimental Study On Tubulence Intensity Of Flow Around Semicircle Cylinder Pier In Rectangular Channel

With advanced Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter(ADV),the flow turbulence patterns around semicircle cylinder pier are studied and analyzed on the basis of rectangular channel experiment,and three-dimension turbulence intensity of flow closed to pier is measured from all aspects.According to experiment data,the turbulence characteristics of flow are analyzed,at the same time,the distribution characters of longitudinal,transverse and vertical turbulence intensity of flow are compared in detail.The results obtained demonstrate that vertical turbulence intensity of flow is nearly a constant along the depth of flow,and threedimension turbulence intensity of flow closed to pier are different,as the longitudinal and transverse turbulence intensity are stronger compared to the vertical.
