Effects of chemical regulation on the plant type and yield of sea island cotton

Effects of chemical regulation on plant type and yield of sea island cotton under DPC application rates were studied using Xinhai 16. The results were as follow: DPC can notably restrain height,width and length between main stem sections,reduce fruit branch number;but do not produce influence on the space distribution,and also do not play a positive role in the boll form factor.Chemical regulation is unsuitably applied as a crucial technical measure for sea island cotton.
