Digital transformation of an institutional environment

The article is devoted to complex research in the process of digital transformation of an institutional environment. The author focuses main attention in the work on institutionalization of logistics activity. Since for digital platforms logistics intermediaries play the role of an internal cooperative structure, this turns them into a key element of software architecture of global information systems. As a research problem the author defined an attempt to assess the nature of changes taking place in the logistics sector, analyze the current trends and suggest directions of its possible evolution. The basic content of the research is analysis of the role of global supply chains in the new reality and risks borne by certain elements of digitization. Special attention is given to the influence of the changes taking place on the life of society and the actions that the state must carry out in order to neutralize their possible negative consequences.
