Intermediates in organic reactions by mass spectrometry

2014
Different organic reactions contain reactive intermediates with diverse natures, the characterizations and studies of reaction intermediates are important for the elucidation and confirmation of the reaction mechanism, optimization of the reaction conditions, screening new types of catalysts and exploration of new organic reactions. In recent years, the developments of mass spectrometric techniques and online micro-sampling techniques promoted the applications of mass spectrometry in such research field. In this paper, we summarize the new strategies, technologies and methods developed recently and their applications in the study of reaction intermediates.
