Digitalisierung und Telemedizin in der Rheumatologie

Von der COVID-19-Pandemie befeuert nimmt die Digitalisierung im Gesundheitswesen immer mehr zu. Das Informationsverhalten uber medizinische Themen verlagert sich sowohl fur Arztinnen und Arzte als auch fur Patientinnen und Patienten immer mehr in „das Digitale“. Auch die Telemedizin hat durch die Corona-Pandemie einen neuen Schub erhalten. Neben telefonischer Patientenbetreuung kam insbesondere die Videosprechstunde in der Rheumatologie vermehrt in den letzten Monaten zum Einsatz. Vorangetrieben durch gesetzliche Initiativen gibt es in Deutschland erstmals digitale Gesundheitsanwendungen (DiGAs) auf Rezept und im Jahr 2021 soll die digitale Gesundheitsakte deutschlandweit eingefuhrt werden. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, digitalization in the health care sector is increasing rapidly. The information consumption and distribution of medical topics is shifting more and more towards the internet. Telemedicine has experienced a boost due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to telephone-based patient care, video consultations have been increasingly used in recent months. Spurred on by legal initiatives, digital health applications (DiGAs) are available on prescription for the first time in Germany and in 2021 the digital health file will be introduced throughout Germany. In order to take this process into account, the German Society of Rheumatology has appointed its own Digital Rheumatology Commission, which is aimed at supervising the digital development in the field and developing recommendations for the use of digitalization in rheumatology.
