trans‐Bis(benzoato‐O,O')bis(N,N‐diethylnicotinamide‐N1)copper(II)

The title molecule, [Cu(C 7 H 5 O 2 ) 2 (C 10 H 14 N 2 O) 2 ], is a crystallographically centrosymmetric mononuclear complex. The two benzoate ions are coordinated to the Cu atom as bidentate ligands. The N and nearest O atoms form a square-planar arrangement around the Cu atom, with the tetragonally distorted octahedral coordination completed by the remaining two carboxylate O atoms.
