The effect of nursing combination in gastroscopy with intravenous anesthesia combined Diazepam with Midazolam in elderly patients

Objective To explore the effect of nursing combination in gastroscopy with intravenous anesthesia combined Diazepam with Midazolam in elderly patients, in order to enhance the security for older patients with gastroscopy. Methods 845 cases of elderly patients with painless gastroseopy used intravenous anesthesia combined Diazepam with Midazolam. In the examine process,we monitored vital sign and reinforced nursing combination. Results All patients had completed the inspection(treatment) with no complication, they were conscious after the examination in 10 minutes. The blood pressure, pulse,and saturation of blood oxygen of all cases changed little ( P 〉 0. 05 ). 718 cases ( 84.97 % ) were at sedation level of stage 2 ; 722 eases ( 85.44% ) were full-forgotten after inspection, and 794 cases ( 93.96% ) expressed satisfaction. Conclusion The nursing work should be permeated with the process of painless gastroscopy. It' s the key to the success of painless endoscopy which include adequate preoperative preparation and meticulous intraoperative observation and careful postoperative care.
