Aproveitamento dos Resíduos de Madeira para Geração de Bioenergia

Energy production using biomass has been highlighted for energy recovery and reduction of carbon emissions. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the potential of wood waste to produce bioenergy through thermochemical processes. Waste assessment methodologies were initiated with the chemical composition of the material from three different sources: urban, industrial and vegetal suppression. Pyrolysis and hydrothermal carbonization were used as transformation processes to evaluate energy gain. The results showed that the waste has the potential for bioenergy production, with an increase in calorifi power of up to 76%.
