Mass-spectrometric characterization of 1-alkoxydiazene 2-oxides

It was shown that the principal fragmentation processes in 1-alkoxydiazene 2-oxides and certain other N,O-containing compounds, involving loss of the NO/sup ./ and OH/sup ./ particles, are general. It was established that the most reliable method for the group identification of alkoxydiazene 2-oxides involves the use of the ion series spectra.
