Detection of Salmonella using PCR and pyrosequencing.

[Objective] To develop a Pyrosequencing assay for detection of Salmonella.[Methods] By selecting a conservative sequence of fimy gene,The Salmonella was determined by using PCR amplification for pyrosequencing of the fimy gene conservation fragment.[Results] We determined the 27 basic group by pyrosequencing on the fimy gene,and reached to detect the 191 Salmonella.[Conclusion] The Pyrosequencing technology provides a specific,rapid,and real-time method for detection of Salmonella.It is helpful for the rapid and large samples screening of Salmonella.
