Extracting lithium from waste solutions of chemico-metallurgical lithium carbonate production

In order to reduce the loss of lithium in waste solutions of chemico-metallurgical lithium carbonate production, it is suggested to extract lithium from these solutions in the form of poorly soluble hydroxodialuminate under the action of sodium and potassium aluminates. Technological tests showed that the proposed method ensures almost complete isolation of lithium from waste solutions of lithium carbonate production.
