Validación y ajuste de un diagrama de manejo de densidad en plantaciones de Pinus taeda L.

2016
According to Larson (2001) the main objective of the thinning is to increase the rate of growthpromoting the expansion of the Cup. According to Dean and Baldwin (1993) (DMD) density managementdiagrams allow you to manage the number of trees per hectare during the rotation. Gingrich(1967) drew up the first DMD with 3 stripes density by defining an optimal management densityof plantation area. Authors such as Schneider & Schneider (2008) and Saunders and Puettmann(2000) present DMD for different species. For the Northeast Argentine Pezzutti (2011) presenteda DMD for Pinus taeda generating the ideal management of plantations Strip through theoreticalconcepts developed by different authors and on the basis of calculation the maximum density lineadjusted to 15 years of age in plantations of Pinus taeda. Measures from 3 to 14 years of age 40plots (60 to 70 trees per plot) data were used for the validation of the maximum density line. Thequadratic mean diameter (DCM) and number of trees (N °) data were plotted and selected thosepoints that were found in the upper end of DCM for an N °. Once the observed data were selected, they were compared with data from the set function (logN = 5, 316-1, 605 * logdg) and used asthe maximum density line in DMD (Pezzutti, 2011). For the validation of the model correspondingto the DMD is graphed vs. estimated observed data and determined the value of R2 and the offsetbetween absolute in % (e %). The absolute trend obtained was of 4 trees, the average relative offset% D = 0, 6%, and the set value of e % (average absolute deviation in %) was 0.35% indicating agood behavior of the highest tree density estimator model / has and verifying that this line of theDMD can keep unchanged.
