Water-soluble binary copolymers derived from methyl methacrylate and N-(3-dimethylamino-1,1-dimethylpropyl)acrylamide and its hydrochloride

Binary radical-chain bulk copolymerization of methyl methacrylate with N-(3-dimethylamino-1,1-dimethylpropyl)acrylamide and its hydrochloride at 80 ± 1°C was studied. The parameters of the copolymer microstructure were determined from the relative reactivities of the comonomers. The properties of the copolymers were studied in relation to the composition and microstructure.
