Study on Mesophilic Biogas Fermentation from Alcoholic Wastewater

After solid-liquid separation of alcoholic wastewater from potato starch,the CODcr of the filtrate was 50240 mg/L,then batch fermen-tation processing was applied,and the experiments of biogas production in anaerobic digestion were carried out at 20 ℃ and at 30 ℃(constant temperature) respectively.The results indicated that biogas yield of alcohol wastewater was 15.2 mL/mL wastewater and 304 mL/gCOD when the temperature was at 20 ℃ and fermentation HRT was 40 d,when the temperature was at 30 ℃ and HRT was 20 d,biogas production rate was 15.5 mL/mL wastewater and 310 mL/gCOD.The COD degradation rate was 93.23 % at 20 ℃ and was 95.22 % at 30 ℃.
