A study of SAR interferometry over forests: theory and experiment

Recent studies have pointed out the usefulness of interferometric data for forest mapping and their potential for the retrieval of forest parameters. In this paper the interferometric responses of the pine forest of Les Landes are studied. A coherent model is developed for a better understanding of scattering mechanisms.
