A case of Granulomatous Rosacea and Polycythemia Vera

2015
A 75-year-old female presented with papules and nodules on face for two months. Red papules and nodules in grain to green bean size could be seen on the patient’ s face, which were more serious on forehead and cheeks. There were scattered pustules arranged in butterfly rash. The histopathology examination showed epidermis was normal, and dermis around the hair follicles could see granuloma composed of a large number of epithelioid cells, lymphocytes, and multinucleated giant cells, with no caseous necrosis. Acid fast stain was negative. The diagnosis of granulomatous rosacea was made.
