High-strength, compact and ordered porous graphene fiber and continuous preparation method thereof

2014
The invention belongs to the field of nanotechnologies and particularly relates to a high-strength, compact and ordered porous graphene fiber and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the steps: oxidizing graphite to prepare graphite oxide, dispersing and stripping in water to prepare a graphene oxide dispersion liquid, and adding an alkaline liquid to adjust the pH value to obtain a spinning solution; then, extruding the spinning solution into a coagulating bath for curing, stretching, then, leading the spinning solution out of the coagulating bath, drying and winding to obtain a porous graphene oxide fiber; and finally, reducing by using a chemical or physical method to obtain the compact and ordered porous graphene fiber. The graphene fiber obtained by the invention has a compact and ordered porous structure, is adjustable in pore size and orientation, special-shaped in section structure, crude in surface, abundant in structure and favorable in strength and conductivity and is widely applied to the fields such as energy devices, electrochemical sensors, water treatment and the like. The method provided by the invention is simple and convenient to operate, low in cost and high in efficiency; and the fiber is controllable in structure and performance and can be continuously prepared in a large scale.
