Relationship between electrocardiogram changes and clinical manifestations in acquired immune deficiency syndrome patients
2019
Objective
To analyze the relationship between electrocardiogram (ECG) changes and clinical manifestation of acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS).
Methods
A total of 489 AIDS patients from Henan Infectious Diseases Hospital and Zhecheng People’s Hospital were divided into fever group, respiratory infection group, diarrhea group, respiratory infection with diarrhea group and other clinical manifestations group according to their clinical manifestations. The changes of ECG and its relationship with clinical manifestations.
Results
①Respiratory infection, diarrhea and fever were AIDS patient’s frequent clinical manifestation. ②Fever group, respiratory infection group and respiratory infection with diarrhea group had higher ECG fast arrhythmia rate than other clinical manifestation group(P=0.008). ③Respiratory infection group has higher ECG right atrial hypertrophy and right ventricular hypertrophy incidence than fever group, diarrhea group and other clinical manifestation group(P=0.012). Respiratory infection with diarrhea group has higher ECG right atrial hypertrophy and right ventricular hypertrophy incidence than fever group and other clinical manifestation group (P=0.003).
Conclusions
The AIDS patients with respiratory infection have highfast arrhythmia incidence, high right atrial hypertrophy and right ventricular hypertrophy incidence. And the right atrial hypertrophy and right ventricular hypertrophy are caused by respiratory infection in AIDS patients.
