KERAGAMAN PERTUMBUHAN BENIH GURAMI PUTIH(OSPHRONEMUS GORAMY) PADA BUDIDAYASEGMEN 3 DENGAN PADAT TEBAR BERBEDA
2013
This research aim to determine the effect of stocking density on the growth
diversity of white giant gouramy fry on the 3rd segmentation. The white gouramy fry
was 21 days old, cultured in 60x40x50 cm tanks with a volume of 40 liters water for 24
days. The experimental method used in this research was completely randomized design
with four treatments and three replication. Stocking density treatments were: 1 fish each
liter (P1), 2 fish each liter (P2), 3 fish each liter (P3) and 4 fish each liter (P4). The fish
were fed with flour (D0) and given by ad libitum. The observed variables are the
coefficients of variance and growth of white gouramy fry. The growth of white gouramy
fry was measured on beginning and end of the research. The result showed that the
different stocking density gave significantly effect on weight and high coefficient of
variance of white gouramy fry, but did not effect on length coefficient of variance.
Coefficient of variance in the overall treatment was high (CV > 10%). Stocking density
1 fish each liter (P1) gave the best result for coefficient of variance of weight 27.43%,
length 11.08%, and height 12.83%.
