The image processing method and image processing apparatus

An objective of the present invention is to appropriately select a processing image during image operation. In a system which subjects an inputted motion image to image processing and displays the result of the image processing, if a function mode setting is an operation mode, a frame image in which an object to be subjected to be image processing appears properly is selected from a plurality of frame images which configure the motion image and displayed as a still image, and an operation relating to the image processing to be performed on the object is accepted. If the function mode setting is a verification mode, each frame of the motion image is subjected to the image processing with respect to the object relating to the operation accepted under the operation mode and is displayed in presentation for verification by a user.
