Computer control of a real-time robotic radiographic inspection system

The integration and implementation of a process line using a robot and X-ray imaging system for a real-time radiographic system at the U.S. Army's Yuma Proving Ground are discussed. This system is used for the nondestructive examination of a variety of ordnance types tested at the proving ground. Emphasis is on both hardware and software approaches to achieve remote and autonomous operation.
