CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating liver cancer contains extract of Ginseng radix, Lycium chinense Mill., Cornaceae, Schisandraceae, Cuscuta japonica Choisy, Curcuma aromatica Salisb., and Angelica gigas Nakai as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using water, low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, acetone, ether, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, chloroform, methylene chloride, hexane, 1,3-butylene glycol, or mixture thereof. A composition for functional health foods for preventing or treating liver cancer contains the extract as an active ingredient.
