Desorption of Petroleum from Crude Oil Polluted Soil

2011
This paper studies the experimental investigation related to the desorption of crude oil in soil, such as the desorption kinetics and the three factors of soil particle size,pH and temperature. The results of the research show that the desorption kinetics of crude oil in soil conforms to the available pseudo second order Lagergren adsorption kinetic equation. The smaller the particle size of crude oil contaminated soil, the more volume of crude oil desorption. The Desorption amount of crude oil in soil increases with the increase of the pH value in the range 2~12.With the temperature increasing, the desorption amount of crude oil in soil gradually increases.
