Stoffeintrag ins Grundwasser : Feldmethodenvergleich unter Berücksichtigung von preferential flow

1999
Fast preferential flow and spatial variability are known to be important parameters for nutrient and pollutant leaching into the groundwater, especially for sorbing solutes. Although this is widely accepted, they are not well considered in trials, because many field methods cannot account for either of the phenomena. We discuss the suitability of existing methods of measuring solute transport and leaching. The Monitoring Box method, which is not widely known, may prove to be an interesting option. Validation experiments and examples for its application are given.
