Spectral Shaping of Mid-Infrared Laser Pulses with a Digital Micromirror Device

Spectral shaping of ultrafast laser pulses in the 3.6–3.9-μm wavelength region is implemented using a CaF 2 -windowed digital micromirror device. Short-pass, long-pass, bandpass and multi-wavelength shaping is demonstrated, targeting applications in spectroscopy and compressive sensing.
