Performance evaluation of MEA based CCS plant installed at RGPV

Monoethanolamine (MEA) with 2M concentration is loaded in Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) pilot plant is analyzed by combustion gas analyzer. Flue gas from diesel fired baby boiler of capacity 100 kg/hr of steam is used for capturing carbon dioxide. The CCS pilot plant is evaluated for its performance to make it viable for commercial feasibility. This paper primarily focused on performance evaluation in which plant data is captured from flue gas data at outlet of scrubber tank (Alkali Tank or at Inlet of MEA Tank), captured carbon dioxide data at outlet of MEA tank was recorded for analyzing the capture efficiency.
